Brightwheel Application

Semillitas utilizes Brightwheel as its primary parent communication platform. Through the Brightwheel app, parents receive daily activity reports with updates on their children's experiences throughout the day. The app features photos allowing parents to view images of activities and playtime. Parents can also stay connected with staff via Brightwheel's messaging. This allows for timely communication between parents and staff to share any important updates and emergency notifications.

In addition, Brightwheel offers a digital check-in system allowing easy and contactless sign-in and out of children. Passcodes provide security and convenience for approved adult to pick-up. Semillitas further leverages Brightwheel's features through paperless billing, invoices and receipt of payment confirmations via email.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences are held bi-annually as they play an important role in a child's development. These conferences provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect directly with their child's teacher to discuss academic progress and social-emotional growth. During conferences, teachers share insights on a student's strengths, level of engagement, behavior in the classroom, and overall well-being at school. With open communication, parents and teachers can work as a team to set goals and ensure children receive the resources needed to thrive between home and school.
